"In the past, there were not too many members, only our parents or ancestors. Over time, with the addition of children and grandchildren who wanted to join, now the number of members has reached 150 people," he said.
According to Yap Chun Lim, in carrying out this Eating Khokun together activity, the location changes every year. "Now at my family's house, next year we will move to Talang Buruk where the other members are," he said.
Yap Chun Lim explained that the purpose of this activity, in addition to praying to the God Kwan Te Kong, is also to strengthen ties. "Hopefully, we, the members of the SAN SHE HU CE Brotherhood, will grow closer and more united day by day," he said.
Yap Chun Lim added that this activity began with the Ciok Siu prayer or Hut Dewa Kwan Te Kong, then continued with the khokun prayer or warrior god. "After that, we eat khokun together while listening to karaoke music that we present to enliven the event," he said.
